Admission Procedure

Admission to Sri K. Ramachandran Naidu College of Pharmacy is carried out with transparency and as per the norms prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The process ensures equal opportunity for all eligible candidates while maintaining merit-based selection.

  • Candidates can apply online through the official college website or by submitting the application form in person at the admission office.
  • Application forms must be filled carefully with all required details and supporting documents.
  • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
  • Depending on the guidelines of regulatory bodies, candidates may be required to appear for an entrance examination.
  • The entrance exam evaluates the student’s knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and general aptitude.
  • For certain categories, admission may also be purely merit-based (academic performance in +2 / qualifying exams).
Candidates are shortlisted based on:
  • Marks scored in Higher Secondary / qualifying examination
  • Entrance exam score (if applicable).
  • Merit lists are prepared category-wise (General / SC / ST / OBC) as per government norms.
Shortlisted candidates are invited to attend a counseling session conducted by the college. During counseling, candidates receive detailed information on:
  • Courses offered (D.Pharm / B.Pharm)
  • Curriculum structure
  • Fee details & scholarships
  • Facilities and career opportunities

Students, along with their parents/guardians, can interact with faculty for guidance in choosing the right program.
